Something to make me feel good

Agent Tre Smith, a animal cruelty investigator had his licence suspended during the summer, after rescuing a dog that had been left in an overheated car for many hours. Agent Smith broke into the car to rescue the dog, upon the dog owner's return, the owner began being abusive and obstructing Agent Smith's attempts to save the dog. So Agent Smith handcuffed the guy to the car, and then brought the dog to the Humane Society for immediate intervention.

I wrote the head of the SPCA a couple of weeks ago, as part of a drive organized by the Humane Society to reinstate Agent Smith (who was at risk of losing his licence all together).

He was reinstated just the other day, and it made me smile to know I did something to help that come about.
