Its official ...

Jorga is leaving CSI.

Sara was my favourite :( One of my favourite lines ever is from her, in All For the Country, the season 4 opener, a frat boy has been found dead and Sara and Catherine are explaining to another frat boy how he is responsible for the death after having punched the kid in the back of the head. The frat boy responsible for the death had previously called the dead kid a "punk bitch"

Frat boy: Look, I told you, that guy walked away.
Catherine: But he was already dying. And you're responsible.
Sara: Now who's the punk ... *beat* bitch?

So, so good.

Back to school, back to school

So I return to the land of academia next Wednesday, I'm doing the one pre requisite course I need to take before beginning "full time" studies in January, I'll be taking 3 or 4 courses a week until August, if everything goes as planned, in August I'll be all graduated with a legal assistant diploma. Hoorah for me!

Pictures from Ireland

For those who are interested in seeing my photos from Ireland and are not facebooker's the links are below. It was a wonderful trip, and when I go back I think I'd like to spend more time travelling the county of Cork (south-east ish).

I managed to travel the perimeter of the whole country, though the north western part was only travelled as I had to go back to Galway to get my cell phone.

I didn't see any leprechauns, but I did kiss the Blarney Stone!

A song

I was watching CSI on Thursday, and this was the song that was playing in the last scene (which doesn't seem to bode well for the Grissom/Sara relationship for other CSI fans out there)

Running Up That Hill (Make A Deal With God) ~ Placebo (cover of Kate Bush)

It doesn't hurt me.
You wanna feel how it feels?
You wanna know, know that it doesn't hurt me?
You wanna hear about the deal I'm making?
You *be running up that hill*
You and me *be running up that hill*
And if I only could,
Make a deal with God,
And get him to swap our places,
Be running up that road,
Be running up that hill,
Be running up that building.
If I only could, oh...
You don't want to hurt me,
But see how deep the bullet lies.
Unaware that I'm tearing you asunder.
There is thunder in our hearts, baby.
So much hate for the ones we love?
Tell me, we both matter, don't we?
You, *be running up that hill*
You and me, *be running up that hill*
You and me won't be unhappy.
And if I only could,
Make a deal with God,
And get him to swap our places,
Be running up that road,
Be running up that hill,
Be running up that building,
If I only could, oh...
'C'mon, baby, c'mon, c'mon, darling,
Let me steal this moment from you now.
C'mon, angel, c'mon, c'mon, darling,
Let's exchange the experience, oh...'
And if I only could, Make a deal with God,
And get him to swap our places,
Be running up that road,
Be running up that hill,
With no problems. x2
'If I only could, be running up that hill.' x7

Is this the answer I've been waiting for?

Holy carp! I will try not to get my hopes up.

For those who know me, have probably heard me bitch about my scalp scabs caused by shampoos and conditioners, because everything irritates my scalp ... save for the psiroiris (sp?) shampoo that is a) uber expensive b) smells and looks like tar ... I think it is tar.

Currently I use baby shampoo, which has helped significantly with the scabbies, the downfall ... it is sometimes a touch too gentle of a cleanser, and also ... continuous use of baby shampoo on grown up hair has a result of making your hair almost like goose down (i.e. a static nightmare), I solve this by once and a while using conditioner to give some weight back to my hair (which is always followed by an attack of the scabbies).

I've just received intelligence that LUSH has solid shampoos and conditioners that are supposed to be really good for sensitive scalps. Could this be the answer?

I'll keep you posted.
